DEMON VENDETTA « Guardians of the bitter sea » (DIRTY WITCH RECORDS – 2013)

« La musique surf ne meurt jamais » tel est le crédo de ces vieux marins increvables voire immortels de DEMON VENDETTA, groupe de Surf music instrumentale composé de démons momifiés déjà passé dans les rangs de formations telles que HAWAII SAMURAI, JACK AND THE BEADED FISHERMEN ou encore de THE BLACK ZOMBIE PROCESSION, donc inutile de vous préciser que les mecs qui se cachent derrière tout ça, savent manier les manches ou les fûts.

Venant de Besançon (on dit Besak dans le milieu Keupon) et de Strasbourg (on dit Strasbourg dans le milieu Keupon), DEMON VENDETTA se réclame avant tout des vieux films de monstres à la HAMMER, des films de zombies de ROMERO, des halloween de Big John Carpenter, et de tous les films Z où des cheerleaders très très belles et des quaterbacks décérébrés se font énucléer par un malade psychopathe portant un masque de Ronald Reagan.

Musicalement, le surf de DEMON VENDETTA se situe entre JAGWAR PIRATES, CANNIBAL MOSQUITOS (qui ont eux aussi signé sur le même excellent label) et THE IRRADIATES (qui sont aussi déjà des anciens hawaii Samurai). C’est donc de la Surf music rapide, avec des samples de films nuls et de dialogues improbables !!

A Noter que DEMON VENDETTA seront en concert aux Joulins le 26 Avril en compagnie des sus-nommés JAGWAR PIRATES !

« PURE HORRIFIC INSTRO MUTANT CROSSOVER SURF MUSIC » voilà ce qu’il y a d’inscrit sur la pochette du disque ! Tout un programme, misérables mortels !!
