[RIFFS 70] Emission spéciale RAR du 26 septembre 2020

Hier l’émission RIFFS 70 s’intéressait au mouvement « Rock Against Racism »(RAR) né en Angleterre en 1976, sous l’impulsion de Red Saunders, Roger Huddle et Kate Webb, qui vont organiser des séries de concerts dans tout le Royaume-Uni pour combattre les idées du National Front.

Le point culminant de l’organisation a lieu en avril 1978, lors du Rock Against Racism Northern Carnival, à Londres, qui réunit un très grand nombre de participants.

La playlist et l’émission étaient notamment consacrées au documentaire « White Riot » de Rubika Shah, toujours à l’affiche.
